Class Training Benefit

Each class in this campaign has different way of doing their training.

Characters can also create the conditions to get advantage to their training (gaining two days of training for one day done) according to the class they are training for. The easiest way is to use one mundane activity to make DC20 skill check, as indicated below.
Barbarians (Survival or Athletics)
Bards (Performance)
Blood Hunters (Survival)
Cleric (Persuasion or Religion)
Druids (Animal handling)
Fighters (Athletics)
Monk (Insight)
Paladins (Athletics or Persuasion)
Rangers (Survival)
Rogues (Sleight of hands or Acrobatics)
Sorcerers (Arcana)
Wizards (Arcana)

Note that the training needs to be done according to the class taken at the next level when multiclassing.

Barbarians

Regular training
Sparring
Practicing sparring with at least one other character with a martial class (barbarian, fighter, paladin, ranger, bard, monk, rogue (swashbuckler)) as a main activity .

Training with advantage
Weapon master or Survival/Athletics
Spar with a weapon-master to learn the fine art of weapon fighting as a main activity
(first requires a moderately difficult gather information check to find a weapon-master). Weapon masters can teach martial fighting only up to 10 level of the martial class, after that a character with martial class level at least one higher than the character is required to be a weapon-master.
Cost: 1gp/tier/day/person for a weapon-master, variable after that.
or
Use a mundane activity to go in the countryside and make a survival check of 20+ before or after your main training activity.
or
Use a mundane activity to do some athletics and make a athletics check of 20+ before or after your main training activity

Bards

Regular training
Sparring or Masterpiece
Practicing sparring with at least one other character with a martial class (barbarian, fighter, paladin, ranger, bard, monk, rogue (swashbuckler)) as a main activity .
or
Whether it is music, painting, or acting, creating a masterpiece is a great way to practice bardic skills. Using the expertise downtime activity main activity to create art is considered an alternate option to hiring a weapon master, and does not cost anything.

Training with advantage
Weapon master or Performance
Spar with a weapon-master to learn the fine art of weapon fighting as a main activity
(first requires a moderately difficult gather information check to find a weapon-master). Weapon masters can teach martial fighting only up to 10 level of the martial class, after that a character with martial class level at least one higher than the character is required to be a weapon-master.
Cost: 1gp/tier/day/person for a weapon-master, variable after that.
or
As a mundane activity, make a performance check of 20+ before or after your main training activity.

Blood Hunters

Regular training
Sparring
Practicing sparring with at least one other character with a martial class (barbarian, blood hunter, fighter, paladin, ranger, bard, monk, rogue (swashbuckler)) as a main activity .

Training with advantage
Weapon master or Survival
Spar with a weapon-master to learn the fine art of weapon fighting as a main activity
(first requires a moderately difficult gather information check to find a weapon-master). Weapon masters can teach martial fighting only up to 10 level of the martial class, after that a character with martial class level at least one higher than the character is required to be a weapon-master.
Cost: 1gp/tier/day/person for a weapon-master, variable after that.
or
Use a mundane activity to go in the countryside and make a survival check of 20+ before or after your main training activity.

Cleric

Regular training
Zealous activity or consecrated grounds
Perform Zealous activities for your god in a populated location dedicated to your faith (you gain one free zealous activity toward your church) .
or
Perform prayers to your god in a location consecrated to your faith (consecrating via holy water will work).

Training with advantage
Persuasion or Religion
Deliver a sermon in a public place using your Mundane activity time for the day to bring the word of your god to a broader audience and score a persuasion check of 20+ before or after your main training activity.
or
Study the scriptures and score a religion check of 20+ before or after your main training activity.

Druids

Regular training
Zealous activity or wilderness
Perform Zealous activities for your god in a populated location dedicated to your faith (you gain one free zealous activity toward your circle) .
or
Perform natural tasks for your god in a wilderness location (can’t be tamed).

Training with advantage
Environment or Animal handling
Do your regular training in an environment related to your Circle.
or
Use a mundane activity to take care of livestock or animals, making an Animal handling check of 20+ before or after your main training activity.

Fighters

Regular training
Sparring or training dummy
Practicing sparring with at least one other character with a martial class (barbarian, fighter, paladin, ranger, bard, monk, rogue (swashbuckler)) as a main activity .
or
Practice sparring with a training dummy. A training dummy requires sophisticated setup, with gears and wheels and weapons swirling to keep you on your toes, and costs 20gp per tier, or can be crafted by a skilled carpenter.

Weapon master or Athletics
Spar with a weapon-master to learn the fine art of weapon fighting as a main activity
(first requires a moderately difficult gather information check to find a weapon-master). Weapon masters can teach martial fighting only up to 10 level of the martial class, after that a character with martial class level at least one higher than the character is required to be a weapon-master.

or
Use a mundane activity to do some athletics and make a athletics check of 20+ before or after your main training activity

Monks

Regular training

Perform zealous activity for your monastery in a location dedicated to your order.

Training with advantage
Weapon master or Insight
Spar with a weapon-master to learn the fine art of weapon fighting as a main activity
(first requires a moderately difficult gather information check to find a weapon-master). Weapon masters can teach martial fighting only up to 10 level of the martial class, after that a character with martial class level at least one higher than the character is required to be a weapon-master.
Cost: 1gp/tier/day/person for a weapon-master, variable after that.
or
Perform a mundane activity worth of meditation before or after your main training activity to focus your inner ki and roll 20+ on an insight check.

Paladins

Regular training
Sparring or zealous activity
Practicing sparring with at least one other character with a martial class (barbarian, fighter, paladin, ranger, bard, monk, rogue (swashbuckler)) as a main activity .
or
Perform zealous activity for your church in a location dedicated to your faith .

Training with advantage
Weapon master or Consecrated grounds or Athletics or Persuasion
Spar with a weapon-master to learn the fine art of weapon fighting as a main activity
(first requires a moderately difficult gather information check to find a weapon-master). Weapon masters can teach martial fighting only up to 10 level of the martial class, after that a character with martial class level at least one higher than the character is required to be a weapon-master.

Ranger

Regular training
Sparring or Hunting
Practicing sparring with at least one other character with a martial class (barbarian, fighter, paladin, ranger, bard, monk, rogue (swashbuckler)) as a main activity .

Use a main activity to hunt in any of your favorite environments.

Training with advantage
Weapon master or Survival
Spar with a weapon-master to learn the fine art of weapon fighting as a main activity
(first requires a moderately difficult gather information check to find a weapon-master). Weapon masters can teach martial fighting only up to 10 level of the martial class, after that a character with martial class level at least one higher than the character is required to be a weapon-master.

or
Use a mundane activity to go in the countryside and score a survival check of 20+ before or after your main training activity.

Rogues

Regular training
Contraption or crime
Use your main activity to practice on devices and contraptions to keep your dexterity in top shapes (locks, puzzle boxes,…) Those contraptions must be bought for every new level at the cost of 1gp per level you are training for, and are only working until the completion of the training.
or
Use your main activity to perform a criminal activity in a civilization center.

Training with advantage
Petty crime or Sleight of Hand or Acrobatics (or Athletics for Swashbuckler)
Perform a mundane activity worth of petty crime before or after your main training activity.
or
Perform a mundane activity practicing fine manipulations and make a Sleight of hand check of 20+ before or after your main training activity.
or
Perform acrobatics and make a Acrobatics check of 20+ before or after your main training activity.

Sorcerers

Regular training
Practice
A sorcerer uses a main activity to train, manipulating the weave and experimenting the motions for their spells, perfecting them by practice.

Training with advantage
Sorcery or Arcana
At any time, a sorcerer can attempt to cast one spell which they do not have yet. This spell must be the new one they will gain with their next level, or one they are going to chose to replace an existing spell. This casting can only be done if the sorcerer has all their sorcery points, and will expand both all the spell slots and sorcery points. Any ongoing longrest will also be reset.
The sorcerer can then roll a % equal to the % of days of training undertaken so far for the next level to see if the casting succeeds. If it does, the spell takes effect, and the sorcerer gains one level of exhaustion immediately as well as one day worth of class training.
or
Practice magic using your mundane activity time for the day to focus on the weave and score an Arcana check of 20+ before or after your main training activity.

Warlocks

Warlocks do not have their own specific class training. They train as the class the character chose at first level.

Wizards

Regular training
Studying your spell book
A wizard can train anywhere as long as they can study their spell book.

Training with advantage
Wizard’s study or Arcana (or Athletics for bladedancer)
Study in a fully equipped Wizard’s study, at a university, in your own wizard’s study or someone else’s (May requires a difficult gather information check to find a private study, if one is even available).
Cost:variable. may also requires establishing trust with the owner of the study.
or
Practice magic using your mundane activity time for the day to focus on the weave and score an Arcana check of 20+ before or after your main training activity.
